US7077709 - Battery connector -  07/18/2006
A battery connector has contact elements and an insulative housing. The insulative housing defines channels and assembling grooves nearby the channels. Guiding elements are movably mounted in the channels for guiding the contact elements. Soldering elements are assembled on the assembling grooves. The contact elements include engaging ends and contact ends. The engaging ends are fixed on the guiding elements near the mating surface, and the contact ends have portions extending beyond the channels from the mating surface. The soldering elements at least have abutting portions contacting the contact ends of the contact elements all along. Spring elements are assembled to the guiding elements for providing the guiding elements with return force. Correspondingly, the overall height of the battery connector reduces, thereby meeting the tendency of miniature.
A memory card connector has an insulative frame, a plurality of conductive terminals received in the insulative frame, an ejecting device for guiding a memory card in or out, and a shell shielding the insulative frame. A normal-open type activation switch is mounted on the insulative frame and includes a first pin and a second pin identical and parallel to each other. The first pin and the second pin respectively have bases, contact arms, interferential arms and soldering arms. The contact arms bend perpendicularly from the bases and further bend inversely to form suspending branch arms. The branch arms respectively have arcuate portions at substantially middle thereof and free ends.
US7018238 - Thin connector -  03/28/2006
A thin connector has an insulative housing, a plurality of conductive terminals received in the insulative housing, and a shell shielding the insulative housing and the conductive terminals. The shell has partitions accommodated in the insulative housing below the conductive terminals for shielding the conductive terminals thereby effectively reducing cross talking therebetween. The shell forms assembling arms on both sides thereof for interferentially assembled on the assembling holes of the insulative housing. Assembling grooves are defined in the assembling arms for locking with a mating connector. The thin connector diminishes overall height and achieves stable signal transmission.
US7008245 - Card connector -  03/07/2006
A card connector has an insulative frame, a plurality of conductive terminals received in the insulative frame, an eject device assembled on the insulative frame and a shell covering the insulative frame. The eject device includes a driving rod, a driven shaft, a driven sleeve, a slider and a resilient element. The driving rod axially defines a 90 degree first continuous chute, and the driven shaft axially defines a 90 degree second continuous chute for meshing with the first continuous chute. The driven sleeve is fixed on the insulative frame and telescopically meshes with the driven shaft. The slider is cantileveredly mounted on the driving rod. During insertion of the card, the driving rod drives the driven shaft to rotate. A stop block of the driven sleeve disengages from an abutting portion of the slider, and thereafter engages with a wedging hole of the card. Thus, the card in final position is protected against exterior reverse shock.
US6811439 - Thin connector -  11/02/2004
A thin connector is assembled on a PCB for signal transmission of an LCD, and has an insulative housing, a plurality of conductive terminals received in the insulative housing, a shell shielding the insulative housing and the conductive terminals, and a metal plate. The metal plate is sandwiched between the conductive terminals and the insulative housing and electrically connects with a grounding circuit of the PCB. An assembling arms upwardly extend from opposite side edges of the metal plate. Each assembling arm has a rear tab for mounting on the insulative housing. Each assembling arm defines a retaining hole at a bottom edge thereof for locking with a mating connector. The metal plate is close to the conductive terminals, so effectively reduces cross talking of the conductive terminals. Moreover, the retaining holes of the metal plate further assure firm engagement between the thin connector and the mating connector.
