During the positioning of a control device for controlling an electromechanical drive, contact elements, which are connected to the control device in a fixed manner, are positioned in relation to one or more openings in a connector collar. To position the control device, the latter is displaced into a predetermined position. The predetermined position is defined, for example, by a guide or a stop. The contact elements are a component of an electric and/or optical junction which connects the drive device to other functional units, for example to a door control device or a motor vehicle battery. To position the contact elements in the connector collar of a connecting element which lies on the side of the drive device in the junction, the contact elements are positioned in relation to openings in the connector collar by being displaced together with the control device into the predetermined position. The positioning operation can be automated by a machine, for example by means of corresponding orientation indicators in the drive housing.
The invention relates to an adjustment device, actuated by an external force, for adjusting a seat or a window lift of a motor vehicle. Said device comprises an adjustment drive, a control device for controlling the drive and an operating device for actuating the control device. According to an adjustment method, at least one control signal that is specific to the direction of adjustment is transmitted from the operating device to the control device via a common air interface. The operating device is supplied with power via the common air interface and the adjustment drive can be controlled by the control device using the control signal that has been transmitted via the common air interface.
An electro-mechanical drive device for adjustment devices of a motor vehicle, more particularly for a window lifter, has a gearing with a gear housing, an electric motor mechanically connected to the gearing, a control device mounted in the gearing housing and having at least one power semi-conductor for controlling the electric motor, and means as a heat sink thermally coupled to the power semi-conductor to draw off the waste heat from the power semi-conductor. The means which as heat sink draws off the waste heat from the power semi-conductor is integrated in the gear housing. With the integration of the means for drawing off the waste heat into the gear housing it is possible for the means to undertake further mechanical or thermal functions extending beyond the function as heat sink.
A circuit and a process are used to control operation of an electromagnetic drive arrangement for power window lifters, sun roofs, or door locks of a motor vehicle. After recognition of a failure of functions or parts thereof or electrical or electronic components, emergency operation is initiated. The operation of electromagnetic drive arrangement is enabled by a switching element, and the control level for the control of the switching element is verified by the running of a safety routine before possible emergency operation.
