particularly to a power expander that can accurately count the times of
breast expanding in order to get an object of gradually training.
[0003]2. Description of the Prior Art
[0004]Sustained training with weights not only can help users to build up
muscle power to make muscles strong, but also can increase power of
bodies, get better form of the muscles, and avoid problems in physical
functions resulted from fat bodies. Using a power expander can get
evident effects in basic physical trainings on the muscles of shoulders,
backs and for breast expanding.
[0005]A conventional power expander mainly includes a plurality of
elongate elastic members and two elongate pipe-like
handles, two ends of
each elastic member connects with a handle, in order that when a user can
exert forces on the
handles to overcome the pulling back force of the
elastic members, the elastic members are elongated for the purpose of
muscle training and increasing power of muscles.
[0006]However, when in muscle training, a user often stretches the elastic
members quickly or concentrates on exerting force for exercise and
thereby can not care for counting the times of expanding. And thereby he
generally is unable to get a standard for comparison in training and for
accurately controlling for achieving the object of exercise gradually in
a sequence.
[0007]In view of this, and in order to get rid of the above defects and to
not only make the power expander capable of counting the times of
spreading to get the effect of muscle training and plastic modeling, but
also capable of counting accurately to get a standard for comparison in
training and for achieving the object of exercise gradually in a
sequence. The inventor thus provided the present invention based on his
professional experience of years in studying, developing and improving
over the conventional training equipments.
SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

providing a structure having a counting member on a slide seat able to
move relatively and on the slide seat on a first handle and having an
actuating member on the first handle, when a user stretches the elastic
members to pull and move the slide seat, the actuating member can press
the counting member to do counting to build up a standard for comparison
in training.
[0009]For achieving the above object, the power expander capable of
counting times of the present invention comprises a slide seat, a
plurality of elastic members and a counting member. Wherein the slide
seat is connected to the first handle to be movable relatively within a
limited range, the first handle has an actuating member; one end of each
of the elastic members is connected to a second handle, the other end is
connected to the slide seat; the counting member is connected to the
slide seat to contact the actuating member.
[0010]When in practicing, the slide seat is provided with a through hole
in order that the actuating member of the first handle presses the
counting member after extending through of the actuating member.
[0011]And when in practicing, the counting member includes a counter, an
engaging member and an upper lid; the counter is connected to the top of
the slide seat, and is provided with a push button; the engaging member
is pivotally connected to the upper lid, one end of the engaging member
contacts the actuating member, the other end is kept a predetermined
distance from the push button, in order when the elastic members and the
slide seat are pulled, the actuating member abuts against the engaging
member, thus the engaging member rotates to press the push button to do
counting.
[0012]And when in practicing, one end of the slide seat is provided with a
plurality of positioning grooves for respectively positioning the elastic
members; one end of each elastic member is abutted against the inner side
on an end of the first handle. Two lateral sides of the slide seat are
provided each with a first rail which has a limiting portion, while two
lateral sides of the first handle are provided each with a second rail
which has a guiding portion; the first and the second rails on each of
the lateral sides cooperate with each other, and the guiding portions and
the limiting portions on each of the lateral sides cooperate with each
other too, so that the slide seat can slide relatively to the first
handle.
[0013]The present invention will be more apparent after reading the

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT
[0020]Referring to FIGS. 1-5 showing a preferred embodiment of a power
expander 1 that can count the times of pulling of the present invention,
it comprises a first handle 2 and a second handle 2', a slide seat 3, a
counting member 4, a cover 5 and a plurality of elastic members 6.
[0021]The first handle 2 is in the shape of a rectangular frame, a rear
portion of it is provided for holding by a user, the two lateral sides of
the first handle 2 each has a rectangular protrusion functioning as
second rails 21, the second rails 21 each has a protruding block
functioning as a guiding portion 22. A front end portion of the first
handle 2 is provided with an elongate opening 23 and an elongate
actuating member 24 protruding rearwards from an inner side of the front
end portion.
[0022]Referring simultaneously to FIGS. 2 and 4, the slide seat 3 is
generally in the form of a rectangular bar, and is provided with a
plurality of lined up round positioning through holes 31 and a
rectangular through hole 32, the front side of the slide seat 3 is
provided with four round positioning grooves 33 arranged in a rectangular
form, each positioning grooves 33 is placed therein with a spring as an
elastic member 34. And the left side and the right side of the slide seat
3 are provided each with a recess and a slide groove, these recesses are
used as first rails 35, the slide grooves are used as limiting portions
36.
[0023]Referring simultaneously to FIGS. 2 and 5, the counting member 4
includes a counter 41, an engaging member 42 and an upper lid 43, the
counter 41 is covered with the upper lid 43 and is connected onto the top
of the slide seat 3; the bottom of the upper lid 43 is provided with a
pair of lugs 431 at opposite positions, the two lugs 431 each has an axle
hole 432. The counter 41 is provided thereon with a push button 411 which
is connected with an electric circuit board (not shown) and a displaying
screen 412, each time the push button 411 is pressed, the displaying
screen 412 will display adding 1; and the engaging member 42 is a bended
arciform sheet including thereon a round hole 421, in order that when an
axle 422 is extended through the round hole 421 and the axle hole 432, it
is pivotally connected with the two lugs 431 of the upper lid 43 (as
shown in FIG. 3), so that the engaging member 42 can be rotated.
[0024]The elastic members 6 are stretchable rubbers, and can be made from
springs or other like materials. The front ends of the elastic members 6
are lined and connected with the second handle 2', while the rear ends

[0025]When in assembling, the front ends of the elastic members 6 are
extended out of the elongate opening 23 provided on the front end portion
of the first handle 2, and are positioned in the positioning through
holes 31 of the slide seat 3. The slide seat 3 is built in a space framed
by the first handle 2 to make the first rails 35 matched with the second
rails 21, and is pushed frontwards from rear to place the guiding
portions 22 of the first handle 2 in the limiting portions 36 of the
slide seat 3, then the cover 5 can cover the rear end of the slide seat
3. At this time, the front ends of the four elastic members 34 provided
on the front side of the slide seat 3 are abutted against the inner side
of the front side of the first handle 2 to form an expansion space
between the front side of the slide seat 3 and the inside of the front
end portion of the first handle 2, so that the slide seat 3 can be moved
relatively to the first handle 2 in a limited range. And in assembling of
the first handle 2 with the slide seat 3, when the upper lid 43 of the

the elongate actuating member 24 of the first handle 2 is extended
through the rectangular through hole 32 of the slide seat 3 to contact
the lower end of the engaging member 42 and to make the upper end of the
engaging member 42 kept a predetermined distance from the push button 411
of the counter 41.
[0026]Referring to FIGS. 3 and 6, before a user pulls to stretch the
elastic members 6, by the elastic force provided by the four elastic
members 34 provided between the front side of the slide seat 3 and the
inner side of the front side of the first handle 2, the slide seat 3 and
the first handle 2 are not moved relatively to each other, and the upper
end of the engaging member 42 on the counting member 4 is kept a
predetermined distance from the push button 411 of the counter 41, thus
the counter 41 has no action of counting. And when the user exerts force
on the first and the second handle 2, 2' to stretch the elastic members
6, the elastic members 6 will move the slide seat 3 and compress the
elastic members 34, so that the distance between the front end of the
slide seat 3 and the front end portion of the first handle 2 can be
shortened; meantime, the elongate actuating member 24 of the first handle
2 is moved relatively to the slide seat 3, the lower end of the engaging
member 42 can thus be pushed to rotate, and the upper end of the engaging
member 42 can press the push button 411 of the counter 41 to do a
counting action. When the user continuously pulls the elastic members 6,
the push button 411 is continuously pressed to count the times of
stretching or breast expanding.
[0027]Therefore, the present invention can provide an action of counting
when in stretching to get a standard for comparison in training.
[0028]In conclusion, according to the description disclosed above, the
present invention surely can get the expected objects thereof to provide
a power expander that not only can get the effect of muscle training and
plastic modeling, but also can accurately count times to get a standard
for comparison in training; the present invention is extremely valuable
